CommonSpot version 6.3 is due to be released the first quarter of 2012 and will support Firefox 6, 7 and 8. It will support Safari and Chrome browsers as well.
That doesn't mean we will immediately upgrade the moment it is out, but this will give us some welcomed options when we do.
Bugs to Remember
New Subsite Issue After you create a new subsite, please send an email message to web@uwec.edu (Erich or Lillian) and tell us the name of your site and new subsite. A system process error creates a shadow file which we must remove before you can create an index.htm page.
Image Bug There is a strange connection between the sidebar image and an image you place elsewhere on your page. If you add an image into the content region, the same image will be displayed in the top sidebar region of the page.
This can be corrected by taking the additional step of replacing the sidebar image with the correct one. If you need assistance, we will be happy to help by phone if needed.
