Why a Graphic Standards Guide?
Use of the universitywide Graphic Standards Guide helps increase the clarity and effectiveness of communications by coordinated and consistent use of the university seal, wordmark and symbols in all campus communications. While UW-Eau Claire departments and offices are welcome to generate their own communications, adherence to the Graphic Standards Guide will ensure consistent design quality.
Who should use the guide?
Anyone creating materials on behalf of UW-Eau Claire should adhere to the Graphic Standards Guide. This is true whether you are creating a brochure for your department, an advertisement to promote an event or an alumni newsletter.
What's in the guide?
The Graphic Standards Guide answers basic questions about graphic standards for the university and assists the campus community in portraying a consistent image.
It identifies a coordinated stationery system and contains guidelines that can be used during preparation of various types of communications.
The guidelines apply to all UW-Eau Claire colleges, schools, units, departments and offices.
