Referendums
- The students at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire agree to support the United Council of University of Wisconsin students with a mandatory refundable fee of $2.00 per semester and $2.00 per summer session. This amount plus postage is refundable upon written request to the United Council Executive Director postmarked within 45 days of the first day of class. If this referendum passes, it will come up for reconsideration at least every two years. The fee may be adjusted between referenda by the Board of Regents. Yes or No.
Presidential Debate
The 2008 UWEC Presidential Debate took place on Wednesday, April 9th 2008 from Noon to 1pm in Davies Center. Student Body President Ray French was the moderator and present for the debate were the two election tickets (in ballot order):

The moderator asked the candidates one question at a time and each election ticket was given a minute to reply.
