The Student Life and Diversity Commission celebrates and promotes engagement of UW-Eau Claire students through positive interactions across differences and raises awareness about the university community on the UW-Eau Claire campus. This commission addresses many aspects of student life and the needs of both on and off-campus students. They meet once a week to discuss upcoming events and goals.
This commission also builds strong coalitions with numerous organizations on campus to promote multi-cultural students issues, international students issues, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues, men's and women's issues, and non-traditional student issues. They also maintain the Diversity Resource Center and publish monthly newsletters campus-wide.
