Commissions

Student Senate has ten Commissions under the supervision and direction of the President and Vice-President. The Commissions study student issues in depth and make recommendations to the Student Senate concerning events and legislation.

Each Commission is chaired by a Director and that Director is responsible for the agendas, the minutes, the meeting time, the meeting place, chair appointments, and for recruiting regular Commission Members.

Any student is eligible to join any Commission and be a productive and valued member. All meetings are open to the public and students are encouraged to attend.  See the list of times and locations below. For more information on each commission, click on the links to the left.
