The IGA Commission works with members of other legislative bodies of the UW system, the city of Eau Claire, and the state of Wisconsin. It investigates national, state, and local laws that affect students at UW-Eau Claire.
The commission continues to actively inform students and educate them about the electoral and legislative processes. Members of IGA regularly attend neighborhood association and Eau Claire City Council meetings.
This commission keeps an eye on the state budget, state controlled tuition costs, and financial aid. Through continuous education and grass roots organization, IGA seeks to strengthen the power or students.
