CABIN  |  February 22 & 23

CABIN!

CABIN is a four-piece, melodically driven rock band, that explores the depth of sound while never ignoring the gravity of lyrics and melody. Among the legions of fans CABIN has gained since their 2005 debut is Sufjan Stevens who personally recommended them on his MySpace account as "a band you need to check out". Their self-released debut disc has sold over 2,500 copies in their hometown of Louisville, KY, fueled by word of mouth and their outstanding live shows. Most recently the band was signed to Machine Records and is hitting the road to promote their long awaited follow-up release, the I Was Here ep, which features five new songs including the epic first single 'I Was Here' which made a strong debut of #7 Most Added at CMJ and remained on their Top 200 for seven weeks. Chris Jacob  |  April 18 & 19

Chris Jacob!

Born and raised in the Midwest, Chris Jacob is a ceaseless traveler with a mindful approach to life. His varied experience across the land lends a both deeply personal and culturally expansive quality to his music. Chris’s debut album, "passes by", maintains his musical integrity with a raw and beautifully imperfect first studio performance. His live performance is an act of truth and charisma, displaying a character well-suited for the stage. Continually writing, performing, and recording has given Chris the quality of sound and the faithful audience of a true folkster. Like a musical anthropoligist, Chris Jacob proves that the essence of the moment, of the land, and of the people can be captured in song. Website
