A Blugold Card is required to cash checks at the Service Center. The check cashing fee is 50 cents per check. A $20.00 service fee applies for returned checks.
This information must appear on the check:
- your local address
- your local telephone number
- your Blugold Card number
These checks are accepted:
- personal checks up to $50.50
- payroll checks up to $500.00
- UW-Eau Claire checks up to $500.00
- parent checks up to $200.00
- two-party checks up to $200.00
- travelers checks
MONEY ORDERS
Whether it's $1 or $1,000, money orders can be purchased with cash for a nominal fee.
