Mr. Petta was a probation/parole agent with the Wisconsin Division of Community Corrections for 19 years before taking a postion as a corrections field supervisor which he held for 14 years.

Teaching is not new to Mr. Petta as early on in his career, he taught part time at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
