Phi Alpha (PA)

Phi Alpha (PA) is the national honor society for social workers. Each year eligible students are issued a written invitation to join PA and to participate in the annual Honor's Day ceremonies. Eligibility is based on acceptance into the social work program, junior or senior status, a minimum of six credits in social work, and an total GPA of 3.0 or higher, and a social work GPA of 3.25 or higher. Induction of new members occurs each semester and meetings are held throughout the year.
