STTEP is broken down into 2 parts.

The STT and The EP

You have to be a current
UW-Eau Claire Student to participate in this program.

The STT (Student Technology Training)

The Student Technology Training portion of the program includes students who are currently employed with CNS and other departments supported by The STTEP.

  • As per the signed student IT agreement form, they will be required to attend a preset number of workshops each semester and the department agrees to release time for the student to attend.
  • These students may attend the training camps offered by the program if space is available.  The department will pay the student wages while they are in training, as long as they are not absent. They will not be recruited away from their department.

The EP (Employment Program)

This portion of the program is designed to promote and recruit for IT jobs on campus. The STTEP will accept applications for IT jobs on campus. These applications are available to departments who have student employment available.
