Benita Wagner has been a part of the Center for Service-Learning for over 15 years. As the coordinator, Benita takes care of office management, marketing and promotions, database management, and financial administration. She serves as the community liaison to 250+ community partners. She provides service-learning instruction and guidance to our community partners, faculty & academic staff mentors, and students. Benita also plans and implements the spring and fall Community Action Fairs and the annual Service-Learning Recognition Breakfast. She is instrumental in collecting campus-wide student service data each year for UW-Eau Claire to be placed on the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Benita also serves as advisor to Chi Alpha Campus Ministries.
Public Relations Assistant

Our Public Relations Assistant interviews students and mentors and write profiles that are published on the Center for Service- Learning blog and website. She coordinates with the Technical Web Assistant to create marketing items for the web. She also assists with daily office tasks and assists students, faculty and community partners.
Web & Technical Assistant

Our Technical Web Assistant manages the Center for Service- Learning website. She updates the website and also coordinates with the Public Relations Assistant to create various marketing items. She also assists with daily office tasks and assists students, faculty and community partners.
In the Center for Service- Learning we have an office assistant who helps Benita with various daily office tasks. Whitney assists with answering phones, responding to emails, working with students, faculty and community partners through the service-learning process. Whitney can answer most questions regarding the service-learning requirement.
