Student Health Service is not open evenings, nights, weekends, or when University classes are not in session. No Student Health Service personnel are "on call."

For routine or urgent care during early evening and weekend days:

For true emergencies or urgent problems during late evenings and nighttime:

When you have severe symptoms, including extreme pain, that you believe a lack of immediate medical attention will likely result in serious damage to your health, the health of an unborn child, or serious damage to bodily functions, body parts and/or organs. Some examples of medical emergencies are:

• Heart attack
• Stroke
• Alcohol or drug overdose
• Acute allergic reactions
• Acute appendicitis
• Attempted suicide
• Acute asthmatic attacks
• Loss of consciousness
• Suffocation
• Convulsions or epileptic seizures
• Acute hemorrhage (excessive bleeding)
