Distance Education Courses
Distance
Education Courses (DE) are those courses in which the instructor is at a
physical distance from the students over half the time. The course may be delivered via computer (online), audio-conferencing, two-way
video, or other means. Online course registration must be completed three
weeks before the start of the course. Some DE courses are taught by UW-Eau
Claire instructors and are being sent to a variety of locations; some are taught
by instructors from other institutions via technology. Be sure to note
the "Held at: [location]" to
the left following the course listing. Whether the courses originate here
or from another institution, you will register for them as a UW-Eau Claire
student, and they will automatically be a part of your UW-Eau Claire transcript. Additional
fees may be assessed on some courses to cover distance education costs.
