Distance Education Courses

Distance Education Courses (DE) are those courses in which the instructor is at a physical distance from the students over half the time. The course may be delivered via computer (online), audio-conferencing, two-way video, or other means. Online course registration must be completed three weeks before the start of the course. Some DE courses are taught by UW-Eau Claire instructors and are being sent to a variety of locations; some are taught by instructors from other institutions via technology. Be sure to note the "Held at: [location]" to the left following the course listing. Whether the courses originate here or from another institution, you will register for them as a UW-Eau Claire student, and they will automatically be a part of your UW-Eau Claire transcript. Additional fees may be assessed on some courses to cover distance education costs.

Go to the Class Schedules web page and select the term you are interested in. Then scroll down until you see the bulleted list of links that includes Distance Education Courses or Online Courses.
