Conference Activities
Golf Outing
Come and enjoy 18 holes of golf and camaraderie at Mill Run Golf Course. Teams of 4 enjoy friendly competition and contests.
Biking & Canoeing/Pheonix Park
Come and join the Environmental Adventure Center Staff on a tour of the scenic Eau Claire area by bike & canoe. Along the way, we will stop at Phoenix Park located on the confluence of the Eau Claire & Chippewa Rivers for some wine & beer tasting from our local wineries and breweries from the Chippewa Valley.
Fishing Trip
Come and enjoy the views and fishing of Lake Wissota on two pontoon boats with lunch provided. Fishing license, pole, and tackle required. Live bait will be provided. Dress appropriate for weather!
Eagle's View Challenge Ropes Course/BBC
This student only event will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone by participating in activities that range from ground level up to 30 feet off the ground! Students will develop skills in problem solving, communication, decision making, trust, as well as gain a strong sense of self-worth and accomplishment. A pizza dinner will be provided at the Bowling and Billiards Center (BBC) with activities (bowling, billiards,and archery) to follow.
Professional Staff and Students Over 21 Leinie Lodge Event
This Professional Staff and students over 21 only event will be transported from the hotel to the Leinie Lodge in Chippewa Falls for tours, camaraderie, and even a little shopping at the giftshop! Heavy appetizers will be catered in from the Fill Inn Station.
Green Mill Bar Social
Come hang out after your pre-conference evening activities but remember the bus departs for campus/conference Thursday at 7:15 a.m.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dinner, Live Auction, and Silent Auction
What happens at UW-EauClaire, Stays at UW-Eau Claire! Enjoy networking with all WIRSA attendees and taking the WIRSA 2013 Group Photo at 7:04 p.m. Buffet dinner will be provided as well as a cash bar. Be ready to bid on the awesome prizes in the WIRSA Scholarship Silent Auction. Also have cash on hand for the WIRSA 50/50.
21 and Over Only Local Establishment Bus Tour
For those 21 and older, enjoy a late night tour of Eau Claire's favorite stomping rounds. You will be visiting three locations and then returning to the hotel promptly at 12:00 midnight.
Green Mill Bar Social
Rather than turning in early for the evening or taking on the local bus tour, join your colleagues for conversation and laughter in the hotel bar.
