History
The Environmental Adventure Center's (EAC) founding of the new Aldo Leopold Bicycle Program was the result of a "grass roots" effort by EAC professional staff, students, faculty/staff, interested community and local businesses; the 5th Annual Aldo Leopold Banquet provided the initial funding to jumpstart this new and exciting program. Thanks to the efforts of these great persons and UW-Eau Claire Environmental Endeavors Commission the future looks very promising with new programs related to bicycle skills, maintenance, education, awareness and appreciation for developing a campus climate supportive of a sustainable biking community.
Repair Shop (Students Only)
Free Safety Inspection> tire check & inflation, lube chain, inspect loose/damaged parts
$20 Basic Tune-up> brake adjustment, derailleur adjustment, lube chain & cables, lateral wheel truing
RENTALS:
Trek 3900 Mtn. Bikes or Gary Fisher Gritty> $5 day, $10 overnight, $20 weekend, $40 week
Lock or Helmet> $1 day, $2 overnight, $4 weekend, $6 week (*included with bike rental)
