This is an extensive listing of summer research internships at universities across the country.  They have sub-headings in physics, general materials research, astronomical sciences, materials research at national facilities, and materials research at science and engineering centers.  They also have a diverse range of other areas that you can explore:  engineering, atmospheric sciences, biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, earth science, math science, and ocean science.

The SCEP is a co-operative education program that provides paid work experiences for undergraduate and graduate students who attend accredited universities.  There are both full-time and part-time Coop programs available to meet individual needs.  Students are U.S. citizens usually studying Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering; Computer Science; Physics; Math; Human Resources or Business Administration.  SCEP/Coop positions may lead to permanent employment.

The AT&T Student Intern Program is designed for students who would like to spend up to six months in a meaningful work assignment that compliments your academic training and/or career goals.  Students who would like to incorporate a productive work experience as part of the regular curriculum may be eligible for the Co-Op Program.
