The goals of the course are to convey the basic methods and principles of physics, and provide part of a liberal arts education.
My office hours, subject to change, are 9am Tuesday, and 10am - 3pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. If I am not in my office, there will be a note on my door (I reccomend that you email ahead to be sure I will be there).
Textbook: Physics for Scientists and Engineers , 6 th edition, by Tipler and Mosca . (This is a different textbook than used a year ago, but it has the same title).
