January Orientation

Orientation is a required two-part program designed for new first year UW-Eau Claire students.

Phase I of Orientation is designed to introduce you to campus and allow you to register for classes.  We will give you an opportunity to find out more about your academic program, meet with an adviser, and register for first semester classes.  You will learn about university resources and campus life, including housing, dining services, student organizations, etc.

During orientation, there is a separate program for parents and guests.  Parents and guests will have an opportunity to interact with fellow parents, current students, and university staff.

 Preparing for Orientation

Phase II of Orientation is our chance to welcome all freshman and incoming transfer students to UW-Eau Claire and to introduce you more fully to both the academic and social aspects of the university prior to the start of classes.  Students will meet in small groups with faculty/staff and a student mentor.

Phase II will take place on Friday, January 18, 2013.  Watch for more details in teh mail in early January.
