The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, in a partnership with University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and University of Wisconsin-Parkside offers MBA foundation coursework online. College of Nursing and Health Sciences

Collaborative Nursing Program (CNP)

The Collaborative Nursing Program (CNP) is designed to meet the needs of registered nurse students who want to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing but have limited access to a campus offering that degree. The CNP is available through the joint efforts of the nursing programs at five University of Wisconsin campuses: UW-Eau Claire, UW-Green Bay, UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, and UW-Oshkosh. All core nursing courses are available online though general education may not be. The two capstone courses offered the last spring semester of the program require on campus class once a week. Clinical experiences can be arranged in the student's home community utilizing nurse preceptors.

The students choose a home institution and must meet the admission and graduation requirements of that institution. Formal application to the CNP at UW-Eau Claire requires that students have at least 30 credits of general education, including three of the required sciences with a 2.5 GPA. RN students will receive 30 credits for their prior nursing education on successful completion of one of the core nursing CNP courses. In addition, articulation agreements allow varying numbers of general education courses/credits to be accepted. For more information please contact Lorraine Smith at smithlm@uwec.edu.
