AMOUNT: $300.00 AVAILABLE: Annually ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Social Work major with overall academic achievement as well as performance in the Social Work major. Recipient must be a Junior or Senior at the time of the award with a minimum total GPA 3.2 or higher and with at least one semester remaining.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Application forms are available from the Department of Social Work.APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 10 SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selection will be made by the Social Work Department's Scholarship Committee.SELECTION DEADLINE: March 31 NOTIFICATION: The Chair will complete and submit a "Scholarship Award Form" to the Financial Aid Office as well as send notification to the recipient.SPECIAL NOTES: The recipient will be honored at the University's Honors Banquet. Recipient should write a thank you letter to the Lieffring family and deliver it to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214. |
