Foundation Scholarships

Dole, Grace Brown Elementary Education

The student must be an undergraduate elementary education major and have completed, or be completing, the Elementary Block; be recommended by the MCEA Program Faculty for his/her student teaching experience; be a full-time student with a resident GPA of 3.00; and demonstrate excellent potential as an elementary teacher.

Qualifying students will receive an email in December with scholarship application information. Also, visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Complete the form and submit it to the Education Scholarship Committee. Ask at least one member of the Teacher Education Program who is familiar with your achievements at the University to submit a letter of recommendation to the Scholarship Committee.

Mid-February. Visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Exact deadline will be in Scholarship Applications Directions.

The Scholarship Committee will select the recipient. The scholarship will be paid while the student is student teaching (either fall or spring semester).

The student will be notified by letter. The Dean will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

The recipient should send a thank-you letter to Kathy J. Anderson in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office.
