Foundation Scholarships

Boatman, Marian A.

The student must be majoring in Elementary Education and be student teaching full-time at the time of application for scholarship to be granted that semester. Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Qualifying students will receive an email in December with scholarship application information. Also, visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Complete the form and submit it to the Education Scholarship Committee. Ask at least one member of the Teacher Education Program who is familiar with your achievements at the University to submit a letter of recommendation to the Scholarship Committee.

Mid-February. Visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Exact deadline will be in Scholarship Applications Directions.

The College Scholarship Committee will select recipient.

The Associate Dean will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office. By letter to recipient.

Recipient should write a thank you note to the Boatman family and forward it to the Foundation Office, S-214.
