External grants
There are many ways to find external funding sources:
- Search funding databases: COS/Pivot and Grants.gov.
- Review a list of common federal granting agencies.
- Look for Fellowships and Sabbatical Supports (short- and long-term, domestic and international).
- Find public and private funding opportunities by general interest area or discipline, as in the sample listing below. See each sponsor's website for the most current program details and due dates.
