All human subject researchers are required to complete the online UWEC Online Human Subject Protection Tutorial before starting their IRB application or collecting any data. Our specific tutorial is required (regardless of other previous training), typically takes 1-2 hours, and concludes with a short quiz. Groups are encouraged to take the tutorial together in order to exchange ideas relevant to their project.
