Director of Libraries Candidate Presentation. Three candidates will be on campus to interview for the Director of Libraries position. All members of the campus and community are invited to attend the candidate presentations and general question/answer sessions. Today's presentation will be given by John H. Pollitz. Reader's Theater. A group of UW-Eau Claire honor students will present a Reader's Theatre performance. The event will consist of students reading from memoirs that address the issues of power, privilege and inequality. Border's Bookstore, 4 p.m. More information.

Planetarium Show. This evening's show, "Adventures Along the Spectrum," will answer questions about light. Professor Photon will explore the properties of the electromagnetic spectrum in this lighthearted multimedia program. The show is aimed toward adults and children over 8. The current night sky also will be discussed. L.E. Phillips Planetarium, 7 to 8 p.m. See related May 19 item.

End-of-the-Year Potluck. The Women in
Higher Education end-of-the-year potluck is an opportunity for all campus
women to relax and unwind at the end of the semester and academic year,
to meet new people, and to exchange ideas on a variety of topics.The
event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at the home of Patti See.

Spring Commencement. Commencement exercises for 1,206 UW- Eau Claire students will be held in Zorn Arena. Candidates from the College of Arts and Sciences and candidates for master's degrees will receive degrees during a 9:30 a.m. ceremony. Candidates from the College of Business, College of Education and Human Sciences and College of Nursing and Health Sciences will receive degrees during a 2 p.m. ceremony. Live Web broadcasts of both ceremonies will be available. Dr. Randall L. Linton, president and chief officer of Luther Midelfort — Mayo Health System of Eau Claire, will deliver the "Charge to the Class" during both ceremonies. A reception for graduates and guests will follow each ceremony on the Central Campus Mall. (Reception rain site: Spruce-Tamarack Room, Davies Center.) Children's Planetarium Program. Featuring "Mr. Genius Tours the Solar System." The show is aimed at children ages 5-12. Tickets are $1 and will be sold at the planetarium before the show. L.E. Phillips Planetarium, 11 a.m. to noon. See related May 15 item.

NYSP Day at Mancino's. Mancino's Grinders and Pizza on Clairemont Avenue will donate 10 percent of its sales today to UW-Eau Claire's National Youth Sports Program. All dine-in and carry-out orders from Mancino's are eligible. The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. More information.
