EAU CLAIRE — All interested persons from the campus and the community are invited to provide input next week to members of the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents on issues currently challenging the UW System.
The Regents will hold a listening session from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 18, in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center on the UW-Eau Claire campus. They will hear comments on:
"My fellow Regents and I are eager to hear the public's perspective on these issues" said Regent President Toby Marcovich of Superior. "We anticipate a good turnout and valuable input on October 18."
Speakers will be asked to limit remarks to no more than five minutes so that there will be time for everyone to be heard. Written statements are also welcome.
The listening session will be audio streamed on the Internet and may be accessed at UW-Eau Claire's Web site.
The Oct. 18 session at UW-Eau Claire is the first of two listening sessions the Board of Regents will host this month. The second is planned for Monday, Oct. 25 at UW-Oshkosh.
