- Professor of music Paul Kosower will present a faculty cello recital at 2 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The first half of the program will begin with Max Bruch's "Kol Nidrei" and continue with Frederic Chopin's Sonata in G minor, Opus 65 for Cello, which has been described as a piece of great beauty and strikingly inspired moments. The second half will feature Sonata No. 2 in F Major by Johannes Brahms. Kosower will be accompanied by pianist Jee-Won Oh, an active chamber musician, soloist and teacher who has performed in Korea, Europe and the United States.
