EAU CLAIRE — The Educational Opportunity Center, a TRIO program funded by the United States Department of Education and housed at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, is offering free career exploration workshops for anyone recently laid off from a job, considering a career change or re-entering the workforce.
The workshops will be held at the Chippewa Valley Technical College, Menomonie Campus, and will be offered on two different dates and times: from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, and from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, May 11. Both workshops will be held in Room 115 of CVTC.
The workshops will provide in-depth career assessments and interpretation of the results along with labor market information. The information can help people in preparing for a new career or selecting a school program.
For registration or more information, contact the EOC at (715) 836-2024 or toll free at (800) 335-3113. All EOC services are offered free of charge.
