Claire To Celebrate
Honors Week April 21-27

EAU CLAIRE - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is celebrating
its 31st annual Scholastic Honors Week Monday, April 21, through Sunday, April
27.
"This week is set aside by the University to recognize
students of high scholastic achievement," said Bob Shaw, associate dean
of students and the coordinator of honors week.
This year, thirty-four UW-Eau Claire honor societies will sponsor
and participate in the week's activities. Events for the week are as follows:
Tuesday, April 22
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hibbard Humanities
Hall - Information Booth and Bake Sale (Pi Delta Phi)
- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., East Lobby of Davies Center - "An
Apple for your Teacher" (Order of Omega) Apples will be delivered April
24 and 25.
- 12:15 p.m., Alumni Room, Davies Center - Brown Bag Seminar
(Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma)
- 4 to 6 p.m., Schneider Hall Room 100 - Faculty Debate with
economics faculty (Omicron Delta Epsilon)
- 5:30 p.m., Ho Chunk Room, Davies Center - Banquet and Induction
(Sigma Pi Sigma)
- 6 p.m., Davies Theatre - Last Lecture Series (Mortar Board)

Events will take place in Davies Center unless otherwise noted.
All events are free and open to the public with the exception of the honors
banquet.
