EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau
Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical
performances the week beginning Monday, March 3. All events are free and open
to the public.
Wednesday, March 5:
- Matthew Steinbron, Eagan, Minn., will present a senior piano recital at 5 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The senior comprehensive music major will begin the performance with Etude in C sharp, Op.8, No. 1 and Etude in C sharp minor, Op. 2, No. 1 by Alexander Scriabin. Steinbron also will perform Pieces from "Romeo and Juliet," Op. 75 by Sergei Prokofiev and Sonata 1961 for Piano by Aram Khatchaturian.
