Library online polls seek student, faculty/staff input
UW-Eau Claire's McIntyre Library is implementing a variety of new tools, including surveys and polls, to gain better insight into students' needs.
Each week the library will post a short one- to two-question poll on the library Web site, in the McIntyre Library News section of its home page, asking students' opinions about ideas for new services, collections or changes in policy. Faculty and staff members also are welcome to respond to the polls.
Another option for student feedback may include the implementation of a McIntyre Library Advisory Group, which would include graduate and undergraduate student representation, said Christopher Cox, assistant professor of library services and interim director of McIntyre Library. Full story.
