Cray Academy Begins 15th Year  Cray Academy will celebrate its 15th year this summer with approximately 400 K-12 teachers from the region attending sessions in math, science, language arts, reading and technology during the weeks of July 22 and 29 at Chippewa Falls Middle School.
Cray Academy's program is a state-and nationally-recognized model for teacher professional development. Workshops are devoted to improving teaching techniques, improving student achievement, and integrating technology.
UW-Eau Claire has been a key partner with the Cray Academy since its first year in 1988. UW-Eau Claire faculty provide instructional leadership for the program.

Eagle's View Ropes Course Offered Classified staff members are invited to experience the UW-Eau Claire Eagle's View ropes course Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fees are based on group size. The first 16 people to register will have their fees paid by the sponsor - the Classified Staff for Professional Development.
To register, send e-mail to Steve Slind, Purchasing, or call him at 836-4643, by July 23.

Correction  In the July 8 issue of the Summer Bulletin, the top photo of The Singing Statesmen's European tour was labeled incorrectly.
The photo depicts The Statesmen at Trinita dei Monti Church in Rome, not the Karlskirche in Vienna, as it is labeled. The tour included performances at both locations.
