Richard Boyum's articles titled "Taking the Worry Out of Anxiety," "A Two-Edged Sword -- A Few Words About Marijuana Use and College Students," "Anger -- Manage it or it Will Manage You" and "Out of the Shadows -- Some Understandings of Impulse Control" recently were added to the University of Chicago Student Counseling and Resource Service Virtual Pamphlet Collection. Bruce Taylor recently was awarded the Whiskey Island Poetry Award for 2002 by Whiskey Island Magazine and the Graduate Creative Writing Program of Cleveland State University.


Mathematics 
Michael Penkava recently received a $47,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled "RUI: Versal Deformations, Deformation Quantization, Moduli Spaces and Graph Complexes."
