Summer Shorts Film Series. The Summer Shorts film series continues today with "The World According to Shorts," a 2006 sampling of the best short films to screen internationally in recent years. The films will screen today and July 23 at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Davies Theatre, and July 24 at the State Regional Arts Center Gallery in downtown Eau Claire. More information.

Planetarium Program. Tonight's show, "Ancient Horizons," is recommended for adults and children 10 and older. Tickets are $2 and will be sold at the planetarium before the show. L.E. Phillips Planetarium, 7 p.m. See related item July 26.
