Susan Moch gave a presentation titled "Encouraging Family Care Through Research Discussion Groups" at the Eighth International Family Nursing Conference June 5 in Bangkok, Thailand. Moch also presented "A Practice Template for Health in Families with Breast Cancer," co-authored by Kathryn Hoehn Anderson (Florida International University), at the same conference.

Public Health Professions
Dale Taylor (emeritus) presented “Multicultural Considerations in Group Therapy” May 29 at the Chippewa Falls campus of Lakeland College. He also presented “Music Therapy in Physical and Mental Health” July 10 at the L.E. Phillips Libertas Center. Taylor also will host the July 24 meeting of the Wisconsin Board on Aging and Long Term Care at the Plaza Hotel in Eau Claire.

Sociology
Tarique Niazi's essay, "China, Pakistan and Terrorism," appeared on the Foreign Policy in Focus Web site July 16. The essay also was reproduced by Asia Times and World Politics Review.

Condolences
Condolences to the family of Vern Sunday. Sunday, who was a maintenance supervisor at UW-Eau Claire until his retirement in 1980, died July 12 in Eau Claire. Full obituary.
