Summer Fitness Classes. A number of fitness classes will be offered on campus during Summer Session. See complete schedule.
Music on the Mall. Tonight's show will feature Chicago-area blues artist Keith Scott. A favorite on the college circuit, he has performed at the Hard Rock Cafe, House of Blues and the Chicago Blues Fest. Audience members are invited to bring blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating. Free popcorn will be provided and other refreshments will be sold. ‘Let’s Do Lunch!’ Presentation. Donald Mowry, Center for Service-Learning, will present "Building Mutually Beneficial Community-University Partnerships" during a noon-hour session hosted by the Alumni Association. The cost is $10 per session and includes the presentation, buffet, beverage, tax and tip. To make a reservation, contact the Alumni Association at alumni@uwec.edu or 836-3266. This summer's film series, Summer Cinema Revolution: A Declaration of Independents, will conclude tonight with a screening of the entries from the joint UW-Eau Claire Summer Cinema/Local Independent Filmmakers summer 2006 48-Hour Video Project.   Summer Sounds Concert. Tenor Mark Mowry, music and theatre arts; soprano Mitra Sadeghpour, music and theatre arts; and pianist Beverly Soll, Activities and Programs, will present the final Summer Sounds program for this summer. The program will feature songs of Robert Schumann, Henri Duparc, Francis Poulenc and Gabriel Fauré, as well as English songs by Henry Purcell (in settings by Benjamin Britten), Geoffrey Bush and Roger Quilter. Blending acoustic folk-country music and humor, Warner presents upbeat, up-tempo family concerts in more than 100 cities each year — from small village gatherings in Alaska to huge auditoriums in Florida.
