Following are examples of UW-Eau Claire people and programs that recently appeared in the media. NOTE: Some newspapers, including the Leader-Telegram, require free registration. Dick Boyum (emeritus), Counseling Services, presented a wellness overview on the WEAU-TV morning show July 28. Thomas Patt, University Recreation, was interviewed on WQOW-TV July 26 for a story about the NYSP funding crisis. Katherine Schneider (emerita), Counseling Services, was quoted in a July 24 Leader Telegram story on the Americans with Disabilities Act's 15th anniversary and was part of a panel on the same subject July 25 on "The West Side" on WHWC, 88.3 FM. Jeanne Skoug, Career Services, was quoted in the June 2005 Chippewa Valley B2B story "Internships on the rise: Funding programs help students find positions with area businesses."
