Patricia Turner and John Mann, history, were quoted in the July 7 Leader-Telegram article "UW-EC gets $1 million grant — History teachers benefit." Turner also was interviewed by WEAU-TV and WQOW-TV July 7 following the presentation of a $1 million grant to UW-Eau Claire for the "Learning by Doing: Public History in the Clasroom" program. Results of a recent UW-Eau Claire Career Services survey were mentioned on Wisconsin Public Radio July 5. The survey showed that 97 percent of the 2002-03 UW-Eau Claire graduates who responded to the survey were employed or continuing their education a year after graduation. Go to top of page
