School of Nursing curricular change
The following curricular change was approved by the School of Nursing faculty at the April 2003 Faculty and Academic Staff Organization meeting:
    The School of Nursing will adopt the new minimum general education requirements effective with the 2003-04 catalogue. Go to top of page

College of Arts and Sciences graduate curricular changes
The following courses have been proposed as new or revised graduate course offerings. If you have questions or objections, inform Margaret Cassidy within 30 days of the date of publication in the Summer Bulletin. Additional Information is available from the College of Arts and Sciences office.

New Course Proposals:
GEOG 595, Directed Studies, 1-3 crs.
POLS 532, International Conflict, 3 crs.
WMNS 505, Introduction to Feminist Theories, 3 crs.
WMNS 632, Women and Science, 1-3 crs.

Revision of Existing Courses:
BIOL 601, Recombinant DNA Techniques, 4 crs. (change of scheduled periods of instruction).
CHEM 601, Inorganic Chemistry, 3 crs. (change of catalogue description).
ENGL 521, Structure of the English Language, 3 crs. (change of prerequisite).
FREN 682, The Drama in France, 3 crs. (change of title and Catalogue description).
GEOG 550, Soils, 3 crs. (change of credit hours, title, enrollment restriction, grading basis, catalogue description, special course fees, scheduled periods of instruction, topical outline and timetable).
MATH 515, Discrete Mathematics, 3 crs. (change of prerequisites).
MATH 518, Introduction to Complex Variables, 3 crs. (change of prerequisite).
MATH 748, Applied Statistical Procedures, 3 crs. (change of catalogue description and prerequisites).
MUSI 606, Canon and Fugue, 3 crs. (change of credit hours, topical outline and timetable).

Air conditioning information
From May 1 to approximately Sept. 30, air conditioners in campus buildings will run when the air temperature outside is at least 64 degrees. Employees are asked to keep windows closed when air conditioners are on.
