EAU CLAIRE - The Wisconsin Legislature's
Senate Committee on the 2001-03 Biennial Budget will take testimony on budget
reform proposals beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Ojibwa Room of Davies
Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The testimony will focus on the
recommendations for changes to Gov. Scott McCallum's budget reform bill as
proposed by the Joint Committee on Finance and the Wisconsin Assembly.
Sen. Robert Jauch, D-Poplar, chairs the
committee.
Similar committee sessions to gather
testimony are scheduled at locations throughout Wisconsin through March 26.
