Two
UW-Eau Claire students and a from UW-Stout will discuss Gov.
Jim Doyle’s proposed $250 million cut to the UW System
budget during Wisconsin Public Radio’s “The West
Side” program this week.
The student side
of the UW budget cuts will be the topic of conversation during
the program that airs at 5 p.m. Monday, March 3, on 88.3 WHWC/Menomonie-Eau
Claire.
Student guests include
Rachel Boaz, a member of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate and
coordinator of a student effort to reduce the proposed budget
cut; Nate Otto, chair of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate Finance
Committee; and Rome Cagle, president of the UW-Stout Student
Association.
