Alumni and Friends React To Tragedy

September 20, 2001

Hi...

Thanks for the message of support. I am fine...working in Manhattan and living in Washington, D.C. put me near ground zero either way. My office building was 1 Liberty Plaza...the building next to World Trade that is likely to fall. Had I been in NYC that day, I would have been commuting from my hotel to the office via the subway into the World Trade Center. Thankfully, I was not. Rather, I was at National Airport getting evacuated in time to see the Pentagon get hit. Either way, I’m thankful to be alive...it gives one a whole new perspective.

Thanks for your concern,
