A
discussion titled “Attack on America: International Perspectives” will take
place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, in the Oneida Room of Davies Center at the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
UW-Eau
Claire students and faculty members from various countries and ethnicities will
be present to discuss international perspectives, reactions and views regarding
the events of Sept. 11; the likelihood of another attack; and the Islam
religion. Dr. Ali Abootalebi, associate professor of political science, will
facilitate the discussion.
The event, sponsored by the Center for
International Education at UW-Eau Claire, is free and open to the public. For
