Four finalists have been named in the search for a new director of athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. A search is underway following notification in February by current Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon that he will retire June 30.
The four finalists are as follows:
- Robin K. Baker, assistant director of athletics and assistant softball coach at UW-Eau Claire.
- Rick A. Goeb, former director of athletics at Bemidjii State University in Bemidjii, Minnesota.
- Charles J. Gross, associate athletics director at UW-Milwaukee.
- Daniel J. Schumacher, director of intercollegiate athletics at Chicago State University in Chicago.
Each finalist will be interviewed and speak during an open forum on campus May 5-14. A schedule of their open forum dates and times is available on the UW-Eau Claire employment website.
