Registration begins April 14 for WYSP summer camp at UW-Eau ClaireMarch 12, 2014
EAU CLAIRE — Registration for the Wisconsin Youth Success Program, a free summer camp at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, begins April 14.
The camp, for youth ages 10-16 who live in the Chippewa Valley, runs from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, June 16-July 10. No camp will be held July 3.
The camp offers a wide variety of physical and educational activities throughout the summer. Free breakfast and lunch are provided each day. Participants whose parents or guardians live in the Eau Claire or Altoona school districts also receive transportation to and from camp.
Free medical exams and dental screenings are provided to all participants. Medical exams will be offered May 17 and May 22; preregistration is required.
Camp registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 300 campers. The registration deadline is May 30.
