Registration now open for community classes for adultsJanuary 7, 2014
EAU CLAIRE — Registration is now open for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension's community classes for adults. The classes, which will meet on the UW-Eau Claire campus in the spring of 2014, are as follows:
- "Digging Through the Bible: Insights from Biblical Archaeology" will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, March 25-April 15. Dr. Harry Jol, professor of geography, and Jennifer Bushnell, lecturer of philosophy and religious studies, are the instructors. The cost to attend is $149 per person.
- "Geology and Environmental Impacts in the Chippewa Valley" will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4:45 p.m. Saturday, June 21. The bus for the field trip leaves from Phillips Hall. Dr. Kent Syverson, UW-Eau Claire professor of geology, is the instructor. The cost to attend is $70 per person through May 23 and $80 per person after May 23.
