UW System president finalists' Jan. 6 public forums to be viewable at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will be one of the viewing sites for Jan. 6 videoconferences with each of the three finalists for the position of president of the University of Wisconsin System.

The public and the news media are invited to attend the videoconferences, which will be viewable at UW-Eau Claire in Old Library Room 1132.

The three finalists for the top UW System post are Raymond W. Cross, current chancellor of University of Wisconsin Colleges and UW-Extension; Peter H. Garland, executive vice chancellor/chief operating officer of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education; and Robert L. King, president of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. Videoconference times are as follows:

  • Robert King: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Raymond Cross: 2:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Peter Garland: 3:45-4:45 p.m.

Community members attending the videoconferences may park in UW-Eau Claire's HSS parking lot, where no posted parking restrictions will be enforced between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 6. View a campus map for locations of Old Library and the HSS parking lot.
