EAU CLAIRE — The City of Eau Claire will post temporary no parking signs and will sweep streets from Nov. 12-15 and Nov. 18-22 in neighborhoods near the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Temporary parking restrictions will be enforced along affected routes. View the street-sweeping schedule and maps.
Temporary no parking signs will be placed along affected streets 24 hours in advance of sweeping operations. Sweeping will occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Parking restrictions will not be in effect from Friday night, Nov. 15, through Sunday night, Nov. 17. Also, if part of a block has a temporary no-parking sign posted, the entire block is restricted.
Vehicles left in restricted areas for more than 24 hours after the initial posting time will be ticketed and towed by the Eau Claire Police Department. The fine for a vehicle left in a no-parking area is approximately $30, and the cost for retrieving a vehicle from the towing company is approximately $75, according to Eau Claire street maintenance staff.
