SUBJECT: UW-Eau Claire, Ho-Chunk Nation agreement signing ceremony
Ho-Chunk Nation President Jon Greendeer and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Chancellor James Schmidt on Monday, Sept. 23, will sign a memorandum of intent between the Ho-Chunk Nation and the university to pursue collaborative activities, including a possible living-learning community at The Priory.
The signing ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. in Benedictine Hall at The Priory, 1190 Priory Road, Eau Claire (see driving directions to The Priory). Media are welcome.
In addition to President Greendeer and Chancellor Schmidt, UW System Regent Edmund Manydeeds, along with additional representatives from the Ho-Chunk Nation and UW-Eau Claire, will be present.
